December 4-7, 2024 in Branson, MO at the

Hilton Branson Convention Center!

Your $200 registration fee covers up to FIVE people from your park, access to multiple days of educational seminars, our exclusive “behind-the-scenes” events, dinner program one of the event, and of course, the top-notch trade show!

What To Expect

We had such an incredible response to our first three years, so we are excited for an even bigger and better 2024! Below is a general overview of what to expect at COE 2024.

Wednesday December 4 – Education/Networking/Expo Day

  • 8:00 to 8:45a – Welcome/Opening Session
  • 9:00a to 12:30p – Educational Seminars
  • 1:00 to 5:00p – Expo Hall Open – Paid lunch available 12:30-2:00pm – Cash bar available during the entirety of today’s expo!
  • 5:00 to 6:00p – Networking Bingo! Ballroom and cash bar will stay open until 7pm for more networking time! Grab your networking bingo card – mingle around the room to chat with other attendees and see what squares you can mark off! A great opportunity to make new friends/connections on the first day of COE! Get at least two ‘bingos’ and turn your card in by 2pm on Thursday for a chance to win $1,000 to spend at the expo!

Thursday December 5 – Cracker Barrel/Expo Day

  • 9:00 to 10:00a – Cracker Barrel sessions – Kickoff the day with some fun and informative cracker barrel sessions! Different rooms and topics will be offered so you can choose the topic that interests you the most! These sessions will be led by moderators so they stay on topic and are valuable for your time!
  • 10:00a to 3:00p – Expo Hall is open – you had the night to think things over, use today to finish up your business/purchases with the exhibitors!
  • 3:00 to 6:00p – Evening Program/Dinner – included in your registration! Exhibitors are included as well! We have a fun new format for this night we think you’ll enjoy!
    • 3:00pm – Networking games – get to know even more of your peers here at COE!
    • 4:00pm – Awards, recognition, some giveaway drawings, and a NEW exhibitor charity auction! Bid on items donated by our expo exhibitors – things a campground owner is sure to love! 
    • 5:00pm – Dinner served with a short keynote speaker so you have time for more networking! The ballroom and cash bar will remain open until 7pm!

Friday December 6 – Full Education/’Behind The Scenes’ Day

  • 9:00a to 12:30p – Educational Seminars
  • 12:30 – 1:30p – Lunch & Learn (separate ticketed event – details coming soon!)
  • 2:00p – End of expo drawings will be drawn and winning tickets will be posted near registration! Even if you don’t attend the ticketed events this afternoon, you can still check to see if you’ve won!
  • 3:00 – 5:00p – Off-Site ‘Behind the Scenes’ Event (ticketed event)
    • Ticket includes a one-hour show by this Branson family-owned-and-operated show, followed by a panel Q&A to learn what it takes to run a long-standing family business, and still want to see each other outside of work! More details and ticket links coming soon!

Saturday December 7 – Half Education/Wrap-Up Day

  • 9:00 to 11:15a – Educational Seminars
  • 11:30a to 12:30p – Event Wrap-up Session – Will include a short cracker barrel to share your best takeaways from COE, and final giveaway drawings!
  • 12:30p – 2024 COE concludes!

Who We Are

The Campground Owners Expo (COE), owned by Severson & Associates, a Management, Training and Consulting firm, was formed to give campground owners numerous networking opportunities. Lori Severson, Owner of Severson & Associates and Bud Styer, from Bud Styer Associates, Camping for the Fun of It, have successfully participated in hundreds of shows with a combined 50 years of industry, campground association, and trade show experience!

Whether you already have a State Association and need help growing it or don’t yet have an association in your State, participate in the COE and network with other campground owners who want to take their business to the next level! Lodging Information

Our event and group lodging block is located at the Hilton Branson Convention Center. Located in historic downtown Branson, connected to the Branson Convention Center. Shops and restaurants at Branson Landing are just across the street, and it’s less than 15 minutes from the Titanic Museum and Branson Hills Golf Club. The hotel features golf packages, both an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, and spectacular views of Lake Taneycomo.
